Keeping you safe

Keeping you safe

Looking after you and your vehicles whilst you are in our care is extremely important to us.  We decided to put together this document so you understand our rules and procedures when you visit one of our depots, or whether we look after you on location or at the road side.

In our depots

  • We are maintaining our high standards of cleaning and ensuring our locations are safe.
  • We continue to promote safe social distancing and monitor the number of people in our depots/workshops
  • All our engineers continue to wear full PPE at all times
  • No work will be carried out by any person who has coronavirus symptoms, however mild.
  • Drivers will be asked to remain in their cabs or to wait in the canteen if staying with the vehicle and we will retain the keys.
  • PPE will be issued to visitors if they do not bring their own – face masks, gloves, hand gel station
  • Customer use of toilet facilities are different in each of our depots. Please check with a member of staff before use.

Whilst on location or out on the road

  • No work will be carried out by any person who has coronavirus symptoms, however mild.
  • Before attending customers sites we check on any site restrictions, this can be done 24 hours before attendance and immediately when taking a breakdown call.
  • All our Engineers wear PPE at all times and will adhere to 2 mtr distancing.
  • All our Engineers will follow any customer requirements for H&S onsite.
  • Engineers have their own wash stations in their van
  • Drivers should remain in the cab whilst we are working & at all times remain 2m away from our engineers
  • Upon completion of the work our engineers will wipe keys with anti-bacterial wipes and when entering / moving customer vehicles, door handles, steering wheels & gear sticks these will also be wiped clean.
